44 years

It is with sadness in our hearts that we say goodbye to Harold James (Jim) Rustle LaDouler. On the early morning of Saturday November seventh, Harold passed peacefully in his sleep.

Harold was a larger than life character and he could be a bit silly sometimes. He loved taking pictures and being in them, but not as much as he loved his friends. He recently described the last six months as one of the happiest times of his life because he was making so many new friends, many of them on the internet. Thank you to everyone who was kind to him.

Although he always wore that trademark smile, on the inside Harold was suffering in great pain. He was bashful, so he kept it to himself, but in his last will and testament he revealed that he was recently diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. He was too embarrassed to tell anyone and he didn't want to cause anyone pain, so he hid his pain and continued his daily routine. He suffered in silence so we wouldn't have to. You are in a better place now and never again will you have to hide the pain, Harold. You will never be forgotten.
